The wife and I just returned from our Road trip to Knysna and we had a blast of a time. Went on some treasure hunts and scored a quite a few collectables and accessories as well as a host of Coca Cola memoribillia!

Also saw a 1960 356 Speedster coupe in tip top condition at Sedgefield classic cars on Monday last week... went to look at it on the Wednesday only to discover that it was sold the day before, although it was still being valeted!

Does anyone know this car and perhaps who bought it? "1960 356 WP"

R250k would be a true bargain for a Speedster. That's just a coupe, not a Speedster.

The world market at the moment is seeing 356 Speedsters selling in LHD form for up to R750 000 and RHD form for over a R1 million.

I love those 356's, if anyone ever get a lead on a cheap one ie, PHONE ME FIRST!
To me, the 356 coupe is the ultimate evolution of the beetle. Like a beetle RS. (IMHO).
