The mail responce I got was the people complained about the price to high and Brendan canned this project to import bumpers.

:jerkoff: BS, if those bumpers were twice the price you would see them around.
I inquired a few years back on a set for a 60's beetle can't remember exact price but they were like 5x the price of a VS item.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......

5 x is ALOT more...maybe thats why they didnt do it, if its 2 x it aint that bad, but 5 x is hectic...

I enquired about a set of s/s bumpers for my Fleetline at the end of last year, to get it to sunny SA would've cost me R17k.
Now if I could get a set at half that price I will surely consider it.

R17k for bumpers is alot of dosh....you could buy another running project... :shock:

The SS bumpers are good quality but at approx 5x normal price - too much for us in SA.
"TSW" and "Street Rod" should not be used in the same sentence! - Barry

Wouldn't a fully restored FLEETLINE cost R17k? Kinda wouldn't make sense to spend the same amount on bumpers!
