Check out the youtube video at the bottom.
The only question I have is: Why the heck didn't someone do this sooner?

Loss of strength by loosing the B-pillar? The loss won't even be regained when the door is closed like with coupe's.

I'm sure the door can be reinforced.
I like the idea. One thing though, what do you do if there is alost no ground clearance like when stuck in mud or when standing in grass.

It doesn't matter if the door is reinforced because it doesn't seem to be fixed to the top or the sides of the frame in any way.

looks cool, but what if the motor packs up? how would u open or close the door?
in case of side impact, how do u force a crushed panel into the hiden chanel.
all motorized parts eventually pack up, what happns when the car aged, no one would want to buy it coz they cant get in. and so on and so on.
just a thought

fk off, thats a photoshop thing
for the door to fin into that little space, it would need to be round or open flat before it slides in
Safety implications?? how do you open the door if its bent in an accident?
Look how thick doors are on luxury vehicles.... remove that thickness from your drive height and you have F-all.
