Ex = Has been
Spurt = drip under pressure

I can do this but kink and link pins are very difficult to narrow as it involves work on the body as well. Narrowing a beam would cost around R1200

Impi you dont have to cut the body for a K/L pin beam if you dont want to cut new shock towers you can on a 4" beam do this and oh yes full lenght eurathane bushing work wonders but thats just my 2 cents..here is what can be done so you dont have to cut the body (V)...and then it just gets plated up allowing you to clear the body

And with all that you can narrow about 18mm per side without shock tower mods and about 38mm by narrowing the towers. A ball joint beam can take 25mm without mods
100mm 4 inch no way without body mods unles you run without shocks

4 inch = 10.16 centimeters

So a 4" beam therefore means you will take 5.08cm off each end of the 4 tubes.

Then you will be able to get 2.06cm off the shock towers once they plated.

And does anybody have the measurement of the inner metal that the shock towers sit out side of? (outside to outside)

if you look closly at this picture this beetle is fitted with a 4" narrowed beam that has water jet cut shock towers fitted. (The exact same as normal shock towers that have been plated)

Distance between stock shock towers 76 cm
bodydistance 74 cmThis means that there is 2cm total clearance which means a possible cut of 1 cm per side
the shock tower is 2.5 cm wide
plating it on the inside will gain 1 cm per side
this will allow 2cm narrowing per side without body mods
Making a solid steel shock tower 1cm thick and welding it to the extreme ends of the torsion tubes will gain 3 cm this coupled with 1cm body clearance allows a narrowed end of 4 cm per side without body mods or a total maximum narrowing of 8 cm without body mods

But then again maybe beams in other countries are measured differently and mayby they are cleverer than us. who knows you can also bend the shock tower outwards and gain more but then all the mouonting angles are off.
