This is the first pic of my beach buggy. Just the body. The rest of the pics will follow soon.

There is a lot of work already done,
shortened the chassis
rubberised the pan
reconned the front suspension
rebuilt the 1600 motor
bussy with rear suspension and gearbox
All of this I did myself and I have no experience prior to this project. (pat pat on the shoulder) hahahaha

Started to restore the gearbox last night.

Got set of wheel from Greenbean that I now will have sandblasted and powdercoated.

Will get the rear suspension with gearbox done and then post the pic of the rolling chassis.
I think I can, I think I can, .................

cleaned and sprayd silver.
I am using the same steps as Pine to clean, a wirebrush drill bit and a drill.
It takes long but worth the effort.

His looks like a sand shark or a copy of it...we have alot of those shapes here just different names and small differances...i have the same one just mine is a kart kraft and i doesnt have the buldge on the bonnet...the most common shape of these buggies in sa is called a kestrel but it very square, has a different buldge on the bonnet and no ''bucket'' seats at the back, but they are all made proudly south african...

Gents,
I want to give a big thanks to PINE !!!!
Pine was so generous to give me the body that came off the buggy that he bought. I dare to say that the reason was that he is going to purchase a new body for his master piece. I tell you guys the pics on his project thread does NOT do his work justice.
Pine thanks once again and just so you know, I AM IN LOVE WITH HW2!
Have a aircooled day
