Please be so kind as to introduce yourself first and then have a look under projects to find Barry's build.

Welcome Div - looks good! Keep those updates coming.
There are a couple around in Cape Town - best looking one is (or was) owned by a guy calle Marcello. Don't have his contact details, but he is normally at most of the shows. There is a streetrod club show in November in Parow - should be there.
I migt even have mine dine by then too

Not really keen on the extended look. the only reason i am not doing it is because i cant do it myself and cost. I wiil try and post some pics next week. Hopefully she will be finished for summer. I will more than likely just change front suspension just to drop the front a liitle bit

Not without cutting away some of what you have on the front there...
Some pics halway down the first page here:

Shape of the plates is pretty important to get the right camber - otherwise your biggest headache is extending the steering - need 2 UJ's and a support bearing, and then extend the front solid brake lines.

Can you give me the cost involved if you can. would i need a donor car?

No donor car.
It's just 4 plates and about 1 metre of heavy wall tubing the same diameter as your beams
Plates should be laser cut or waterjetted for accuracy but you could gas axe and finish by hand if you are patient.
I would guess around R600-R800 ? ? ?
You could call Simon at Old Mill Rod & Custom in Parow. I think he may have a set left from a batch he had cut a while back.
Don't have my phone with me now, but his number is the one on the door in the pics in above link - take FOREVER to open to full size on this "ADSL" line.........
