yesterday on my hunt for a starter i went to see Joe in Lindin we had a chat he told me last week he serviced a beetle and sent it outside to sell it. he asked on of his guyz to give the car a wash the guy came back and asked him what car? when he went outside the car was not there. he called the cops and they went looking for the ride. the cops came back empty handed. later that evening one of the guyz that grapht for Joe was walking to Winsor in Cresta saw the car parked infront of some flats and called the cops. the flats are 6 kays away from Joes. a drunk man found the car that cops didint and they say that they know they beat inside out . i dont think they looked for the car

That's SAD man. Then again they should reward the cops that do their work and get rid of the dead wood.

My experience is much the same, Unless someone died, they just dont care. The fill out a docket and give you a case number so you can claim, thats it. The dont bother getting off their ass.
it is just not important enough.

Fine for not paying your TV license: R 1000
Bail for murder in the first degree: R 500
Moral of the story: if the SABC TV license inspector knocks on your door, open it an shoot him in cold blood. You'll save R 500...

personally i think the cops dont do anything because they dont know how. rather get to the scene late or not find wat they looking for, coz they would'nt know what to do when they do

............that's why they have badges on the police car front doors.
So they know where to get in!

this is indeed a sad state of affairs and fills me with already known dread for when my family and i come to sa next year for the world cup. My cousin got picked up in george last year for being a passenger in a car wreck. He`s as english as they come with no knowledge of the southern african languages whatsoever. He was ushered into a cell with 20 other men none of the same ethnicity as himself and none of which could understand him. Luckily one wise old man looked after him as one of the cell mates was murdered there and then. He was finally released without charge the following day but has no desire to return to sa anytime soon. From experience the police in sa are corrupt, corrupt, corrupt

My UNO panelvan was also stolen last week in the general area , perhaps I should take a drive through windsor, and yes, very efficient in getting a case number, nothing since then....
