I was taking a cheap chance here.....looking for something special to put on the Fleetline with the Bay suspension in place.....5*112.

There are some nice Audi wheels with that pattern

Last months Ultra VW had a bay window early westy on it with Porsche teledials.... simply stunning...

would there be a problem with the fenders using the adaptors on cookie cutters on lowered suspension?

If you are using adapters on std drums, it will increase the offset, increasing the chances of the tyres rubbing.
But also depends on how severe your "drop" is, tyre width, mag wheel width etc etc.

Have already got the wheels in mind for when I own a VW with 5 x 112 PCD. They were part of the avantgarde (I think) package on certain previous generation C-class merc's. Looks quite a bit like a modern Torque thrust wheel to me.

we are thinking alike
this wheel was in mind as it looks something like boyd coddington's/foose. i even wanted to widen the rears and polish them. would have costed too much. the originals are a bit out of my reach
