I'd like to try to find out how many Herbie replicas there are in SA - owners / friends of owners are invited to send a pic, together with basic details

It would also be super if we could get a few to park together at the Beetle 75th on 20 June...

Saw one today here in Rustenburg. Will try to see if I can find it's lair.

I saw one for sale in Randburg. On Republic road

Know of only one in PE.

Somewhere on this site there is a pic of it with my Notch and that green SC.

Then there is the one at the Auto Pavilion in Uitenhage.

I have seen 4 other Herbies around, one was for sale here in Boksburg, and one I saw in Alberton recently, one was at Cars in the Park, parked up by (I think) VW sport or Jacaranda club, the last was also in Alberton but was someone on this forum, and then me!

Nice idea for the 75th Heide! Gives us ample time to track down all the Herbies and their owners!

thanks for all the response so far - and yes, there is a bit of time - the article is for Motorheads 2011 - so final info for that would be put together by August.
(I hope no-one hijacks the idea, cos that has happenend before...with one of the local motoring magazines)
