Does anybody on this Forum know of people active in SA on VW engines for aircraft applications?

Volkspares in Jetpark build them on a regular basis. Speak to Ivan.

The best person to speak to would be Ivan at Volkspares (as JohnHoffe pointed out)
We're currently busy with a 2,3lt type 1 engine that has been turbo charged for a bush king plane. The engine has been twin plugged and running a distributor less ignition.

I will follow up with Ivan and Arno. Has anyone had the opportunity to get their hands / eyes on a Pauter engine? Seems outrageous and extreme...
