Do any of you okes know anything about these OG Green Hella indicator lenses?

Karjieker has a set to sell, and asked me for more info, but alas... closest I could find was a set of green peanut / cigar style flickers, but they are muted to be of marine application...

These look like they should should be on one of the old wood speed boats

They are old style marker lights from the roof of a truck. Nowadays they are white, not green. Because a truck cab is often much higher up than the lights, oncoming traffic will often dip headlights long after blinding the truck driver. The roof markers let oncoming traffic know there's a tall vehicle coming.

Cool someone else know the reason for those lights Did someone tell you or did you figure it out yourself?

I have an inquiring mind. And I'm old enough to recognise stuff like that.
