Very long term Fasty project!

About 10 years ago I bought this Fasty body. It had already been painted, but the owner couldnt get the colour exactly right as he wanted. I basically got a body and most of the glass except windscreen.
At that time I had a shop selling Aircooled parts only. A panelbeater wanted me to recomend him to my customers that wanted paint work done. He closed up the bumper holes and side trim holes. So it was to become a Custom project. A windscreen and repaired dash were obtained and fitted along with the other glass.
I sourced a floorpan that was so rusted that the pan halves didnt exist! This was sand blasted and covered in red oxide.
I fitted a gearbox that had been rebuilt. This will still go to Bugger for more attention (in time)
The body has been put back onto the "Chassis" to aid moving it around.
About 3 years ago, Pine swopped me a parts car for some type 3 only parts. I swopped him a Split Combi. So yes, Pine has owned a Splitty!
The parts car was fitted with an upright Beetle motor, and driven by my daughter for about 3 months.
Below are pics of the two fasty's.
The Beige one is the project, and the red one the parts donor.
As the title of the thread says, this is a very longterm project.
Maybe posting this thread will get me in the mood to get my Ar.. in gear!
