Anybody ever seen lambo (scissors) doors on a T1 Beetle?

I cannot find any pics anywhere of a Beetle with Lambo doors.

Make history.

They do the Lambo door thing in Centurion ????????

I think I read some where on the overseas Forum the whole way the beetle door opens is part of the problem on getting the Lambo style doors to work

Mr Wagner we really got to get together and see if you really are in my head or not! And yup I did consider the lambo door option myself. Sadly it wouldn't be an easy med, as the bug doors open the way they do and the hinges are such. Also to mount the lambo hinges is a mojor pita, as there are no solid enough points on the bug door frame.
It will look oh so awesome yet is somewhat not an easy option.
Ps do a search on it, somebody and myself discussed it before,with a picture,albeit a model.
