It is my attempt at designing something that will give the benefits of both these parts below combined.
One an OEM 412 intake flange and the other a conversion part by IMPI.
Having the engine-side like the OEM part means it runs on the lip of the fan itself, making for a more "air-tight" setup.
Now, if I only had my 412 flange with me, I could start on a full-scale one. You get the type3 bellows new still but none of the other parts unfortunately, which is the problem.

only reason I got it was cause you have been talking about this part for the last 4 years.... also didnt want to give too much away so kept my answer very short
