If I wanted you to build/sell a T4 like this what would you need and what would it cost?

I know its a difficult answer but ball park would do....

Or what do you normaly sell them for?

I happen to know that IMPI would trade an engine like that for a Zero Point Hyper Drive. I'm sure with your influence you should be able to rustle one up.

I had one last week but it had a problem and kept returning you to the point of departure...... It toke you forevery to get no where real quick...

Hi Something like that is not easy to cost
A normal type four usualy costs about R7000 to recon
The deuts sleeves used are usually a couple of beers but then the fun starts they have some time on a lathe before we can use them figure about R1000 in machining the cylinders chevy pistons are cheaper than vw so there you score a bit the head work will be slightly more than a std rebuild
I would say that you would not get much back from R10000 for a complete long block About twice as much as I do a 1600 std engine

I know we are talking ball park but 10k's is a good ballpark.. I have the deuts...could FI be added as an option and do you add an extra stud thru the head to help seal the head what with the difference in heat soak between the head and the cast iron deuts? Or not an issue??

PS: Never go to the toilet in IMPI's home. There is a high pile of old Volksworlds and VW Trends in it. One tends get to uhm... 'carried away', and after an hour someone knocks on the door wanting to know if you are OK!

And then you try to stand up and fall on your face cause your legs are numb...

It's like a lime gwopsch... have a few beers then 2 tots vodka 2 tots taqula a dash of lime juice in a tall glass.... DONT SMELL IT!!! Just drink 2 of them.... Makes me completely legless Smells like a teddybears poopall!!!!! But good for keeping you in one place.

The main question as always remain Budget!
A Duetz sub probably would go for about R10000 but a lot of add ons add up eg exhaust ,carbs,cooling system etc
