2010 36hp Challenge info and records

Just a quick note to let interested folks know the 2010 Guidelines and speed records are now posted at http://www.burlyb.com .
Take a look and come join us in 2010. It promises to be a very special year with Dick Beith, the original VW land speed record holder (and he still holds the Vintage Supercharged 36hp record fifty years later) coming back to race the 36hp Challenge in September at the USFRA World of Speed event in the USA ( http://www.saltflats.com ). In Australia next month, the first 36hp Challenge racers will attack the salt pan at Lake Gairdener during the DLRA Speedweek. Hopefully our friends in South Africa will also prepare and race a VW (hopefully a 36hp Challenger!) or two at the Vernuekpan this September as well.
Like I said, this is going to be a special 36hp year.
