The green one is also much rounder just above the light

Late Bay with the indicator lenses on above the head lights
Early Bay or Lowlight with the indicator lenses above the bumper
The early Bay rear vents behind the rear window are round where as the late Bay vents are more square.

...except the '72 Bay, which is known as a 'crossover' model. It has the square vents and large tail lights of a Late Bay, yet the low front indicators of an EarlyBay. Also the first year that the Type 4 engine was fitted to the Bay.
