If not the correct collective noun, I apologise
On my way to a supplier on the East Rand yesterday, I spotted a collection of Bays next to the road.
As luck would have it, I had the camera with me.
These vehicles are all in the Petit area near Springs
The panelvan apparently has papers, no engine or gearbox
Selling for R2500
The Westy had the nose butchered for a radiator
Selling for R3500
The SC and Combi are in the same yard, no info on prices though.

I tried to buy the bus in the background, but the old boy who owns these (I think they are in the same yard) seems to have hoarding tendencies and the guy I spoke to said he won't sell the bus and it's hard to get him to part with anything else either...
I've noticed the blue SC and the red Office, but didn't see the others.

I was lucky enough to buy the pickup. The red bay is going for R10 000. Lots of rust though.

As you're driving out on Pretoria Rd from Benoni you come to the Crystal Park 4 way stop with the shell garage on the right. Continue straight across the 4 way stop and then take the left hand side road at the fork - it's about 50m from the fork on the left hand side, before the Petit Co-op.
Which one you going for?

"Flock of bays"....?
Everybody knows that bay window busses sometimes travel in pods, and as you can see from the pictures, when they are placed in such dire circumstances they have been known to apply the safty in numbers survival stratagy,....

What he said.
However, I'm tempted to have a look at the westie. Dunno how easy it would be to fix the nose and all the other holes that will have been cut in it for the conversion tho?

I think the glass and doors are worth more than what they're asking especially for the westy !
