While driving on Chapman's Peak with his Seat Cover, the brakes of Tom Bishop's Thing failed. A mysterious black car appeared from nowhere, and prevented them from plunging down the cliff

Love it, Thanks Pine.
Would you happen to now what episode that is from.
Now all I need is a set of grey boots and I will be the envy of all Thing drivers.
Whats with the speedo, Dont belong to a Thing and all Things are meant to have Dual braking systems. Some guys from ACVWSA must have modded the Breeker.
And with a Seat Cover like that how can I help it if the brakes in my Thing Fail?

(Not the entire clip, but you'll get the idea)
Wow, 80s flashback!
Useless trivia follows:
The episode is called "Let it be me" Season 2 of Knight Rider (Original airdate May 13, 1984)
During the show the brake lines get cut on the Thing and Kitt has to save them. Imagine that.
The blonde (Catherine Hickland) was married to the Hoff for a few years during the 80s. Then she married a guy whose real name was Michael E. Knight. Not joking, look it up.

This is just the best, absolutely funny...although the seat cover is a little suspect...
