mag wheel repair or not

Vw transporter T5
After an unfortunate incident of bending 3 of my wheels I now face
the insurance.
The (*&^%#$ *&^^%^% %$$****&^)assessor from santam claims that after he rolled the rims on a flat surface according to him its not damaged.
This after I supplied him with a report from Auto quip that they are bend.
Needles to say we had some (pretty nice) words UNEDUCATED (a$%%^^)

They however refuse to replace the wheels and claim that they will be as good as new once they repaired them at a cost of R960, a whole lot less than my excess.

However no matter how far I search on the net nobody is willing to gaurantee that they will be 100% again.

Comments please.

Mags are repairable up to a point. However, aluminium is not as malleable as steel and will break if it is bent once too often as it tends to get quite brittle after bending.
