Hi Blitz,
Got two complete Beetles so there is really much i can think of in terms of a swap. Although i'm very open to other go fast parts.

Re: Dual Dellorto 36 DRLA
These are made by AA Parts in China and are some of the better Chinese parts.
There is a guy in the states boosting them at 0.5 Bar in a Splitscreen Bus and they are holding up fine - I would personally not do that because they are a little thin in the wrist pin area if you compare them to mahles
They are flat tops too - with the right CR and cam combo it would make an awesome mild engine for a Beetle or Type 3, will cost less than a Type 1 to build as well
Brand new, still in the box - for a 71mm stroke (2.0 Type) crank...

Re: Dual Dellorto 36 DRLA
Hi Blitz,
Thanks for the offer........tempting but not gonna have a car off the road again for engine modding
Was hoping for more bolt on items for my 1835cc.
To make it more attractive for you i'm willing to drop the price to R1k for the carbs.
Really not gonna have need for 36's anymore.

Re: Dual Dellorto 36 DRLA
Hi Blitz,
Cant be too sure of the condition. Have never run them on my cars, but they are complete. I have always preferred the Weber IDF's.
I may have more than 1 set (must just check i knw the others are IDF) and i suppose you could choose which looks cosmetically better
Will take some pics tonight and get them sent to you.

Let me know what you have. I know of someone who is looking for 40IDF webers and also another guy who is keen on the Dells - especially at R1K for the set. He is in CPT.
Send me your ph number and I'll pass it onto him
Thanks
