Congratulations to my Kombi

I need to congratulate my Fleetline bus (this is for you Pine) on the trip we made on Saturday. Drove all the way to Wesselsbron and back - and the return was with a heavy load of timber. A total of 684Klm which took a driving time of just over 8 hours. The bus has never been this far before and believe it or not on the way back even reached 110kph at times - that is after the 60kph uphill struggle. For me, who worries about the 'what if' too much this trip has just shown that these old buses are tougher than we think and if you give them enough time, they also get there!

Would love to do that! - but like always duty calls, must work to make money to spend on the bus

Hey, congrats Piet! We tend to underestimate the abilities of our cars. They were indeed made to be driven. Any day, every day, everywhere - the open road is the limit
