I have a fully recon 1.8 Golf motor, new bearings,pistons, rings, valves, oil and water pump, selling for 6k but will let go to forum members for
R4750.00 It has not even been started yet. Comes with both manifolds, alternator and dizzy. Might be able to make a plan with Carb. Also have an adapter plate, Beetle box to Golf, and flywheel for R1800.

The strange thing is that marrying a Samba and a P38J Lightning like that, would in all probability work.
You won't have much maneuverability, but you will take off and fly, slowly... with full flaps.
