Lovely car but I can see what you mean on the colour....only question is really is it the original paint still as it would be a shame if you change and it's that original....
Each to there own,it's your car....as Splitz says, some more pictures would be fab!

Very good to see cars like this coming out of the woodworks. I like it very much, especially the colour as that was one of the original colours this car came out with.
If it was my car (and it isnt) I would have tried to keep it as original as possible. Original cars nearly always keep their value better than modernized cars. The reason being that when you built a car to your taste, it is usually only you who really like it. Other people are not willing to pay what you spent on the car. With an original car their is always people that are willing to pay good money.
There are not that many Ovals left. Enjoy this one, they are special.

Thanks, i agree but this is not the factory paint colour, i am the second owner and the old man i still drop in and see, he has given me pic of the car when he drove it as a daily in the 60s and 70s. so i would like to keep it an original colour but do not feel i need to keep it this colour. I do have friends who want me to do nothing and keep its history as is.

very nice, but i have to redo it anyway as i have to fix the indicators, side and rear back to original

That's one AMAZING Oval you got there Vannman. You're a lucky chap! There have been kidneys on offer here for cars of that caliber so you're EVERYONE'S new best friend!
