Hi i am new to your forum, i ride a old harley sportster, thats been changed into a little bobber.
Now i 've bought a 1976 Beetle S, love aircooled machines!!

want to make my beetle my next little project.. so i will need your advise on the following:
what wheels do they use on this picture below, how low is this beetle dropped ect. want to get the stance right first(wheels and suspension)

They look like standard, widened Beetle rims, chromed with after market EMPI full moon hubcaps, without the VW badge in the centre.

Nice...

Lowering it is easy, you decide how much. When it won't go lower, your on the ground...

Gently with the lowering, it causes all kinds of problems with suspension and steering geometry.

:welcome: I had a HD Street Rod but unfortunately swapped her for a R1150R BMW.

Anyway, very nice rides.....On bit of advice, you have to think what you want to use the beetle for, what's the end view before you really go making plans....so is it going to be a daily ride or hard core drag car, etc!
