Hi everyone,

This is an interesting thread, but sadly its lacking pics. Come on good people, please show me what I am missing out on

In forum culture the saying goes if there are no pics then it did not happen and does not exist. Or at least post a link of your own threads were there are pics, pritty please!!

Most of my older pics have disappeared and to go through each post and thread over the years and then finding the folders and re-submitting same is going to take many hours.

I agree, for me the photos together with the stories make my time on ACVWSA worthwhile. Reading other members roadtrips, projects, car show reports, etc. over the years without photos - it just does'nt do it for me :(

]New to the forum...we have a '75 SA jeans beetle...bought new by a Welsh guy who was living in SA then came back to the UK in '84 , bringing the car back with him...rightly or wrongly the car isn't being restored to originality ( we are a hot rodding family!) ....it's mostly in excellent condition, was originally denim blue ( one of 114 if I have my facts correct) ....the guy who owned it before us painted it black for some reason which is slowly coming off...the engine is now 1641 cc....

I have a 1975 jurgens autovilla. She has had to stand in the elements for 16 yrs. Now time to restore Grace to her former glory.
