Hi there guys and gals,
It would be really great if there is a collector out there who would be keen to take over my
stationwagon. I find myself between a rock and a hard place at the moment because i bought my baby a few months ago and a close friend has recently offered me his late seventies combi which is is excellent condition.
Because i'm an artist and a musician and a father of some small kids i really shouldn't let this combi
slip through my fingers. It's the ideal vehicle for carting instruments, kids and all the obscure bits that seem to fill my life.
I live on a farm and i'm not really able to treat my type 3 to the care and attention it deserves and the the dust, rain and mud is not what this car needs. Although the car runs very well and i use it as my general transport, i believe that she should be treated more kindly and that a collector could turn it into a pristine example of the model with a bit more tlc than i can give her.
So, anyone out there ? i can send loads of pics and you can e-mail me direct on
I live in the Stanford area in the Western Cape and i will happily drive and deliver the car anywhere in the country.
Looking for a collector...

Give the poor people a chance as well!

The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.
