Type 1 Crank - any offers?

It seems I just stuffed up the last existing prop hub for my AeroVee engine (Type 1 VW). The factory wants me to buy a new crank (custom made) with the new style prop hub.

Would anybody be interested in the old crank (someone, please make me an offer that will make it worthwhile to get the new hub ;-) ):
CB Performance Super Race - 82mm, ground .010" under, and re-nitrided. Includes KS mains (-0.010"/+0.02") and KS rod bearings.

Based in Pretoria. You are welcome to take it to the engineering shop of your choice for inspection/measuring. Ran 90 hours before removing. 0 hours since machining.

Thanks,
Justin

How many flick rolls did you do with this crank? :D

No flick rolls :D (although, if you are worried, the crank was magnafluxed, and there are no cracks - hidden, or otherwise).

I have no idea what a 2nd hand crank goes for, but I would like (at least) to recover the engineering costs. Nitriding alone was R850, never mind magnaflux and cut. The bearings are brand new, and cost around R600.

Just a heads-up. This crank is not a straight swop. Best used if you are building a new engine. Need to clearance case, rods and camshaft. Also need pistons with a higher pin position.

 Finally got the shipping quote on the new crank... Needless to say, I will have to hang on to my current crank, and wait for the next production run on the old style prop hub :( .
