so it ended up going for R275-00 to someone with 1 purchase (i.e. 1st time buyer).

I was the runner up in the auction, some guy bid for it a minute before the damn thing ended.... I should have put it on autobid

BidorBuy has a facility where you can get an sms notification when your are outbid. There is also an automatic auction extension following last-minute bids, to give everyone a fair chance. That steering wheel has been on BidorBuy for at least 3 months, and was re-listed at the price of R 250.00 several times. Snoozing = losing

indeed.................however the sms facility won't help you if there is a minute left.....lol.

Put a reminder of the bid closing time on your cell, like I do
