Hey Guys

I recently aqcuired a Baywindow and came acros this forum. This is the first air cooled I've ever owned, and I am enjoying it since I first drove it.

It is a panelvan with the indicators at the top, and it has the small back window.
Unfortunatly someone tried fitting some watercooled engine in it, so it now has a HUGE hole at the front, although it has a TP in now

Can anyone tell me what the desired cruising speed of this bus would be, I have those 14' chrome rims on at the moment, but I am considering going back to the 'soup bowl' rims. Will his affect m cruising speed in a good or bad way.

First things first. Please introduce yourself in the new members thread. Secondly,if there are no pics it did not happen or you don't have it. Okay as for the model in your avatar and your description, they don't match.

Hi Dappermuis

waar dink jy stap jy?

Increasing the rim diamater from 14" to 15" (with similar profile tyres), should make acceleration slightly slower, and increase cruising speed a little. But on a bus, the concept of "speed" is relative.

Post some pics, and do your intro as suggested. Welcome.
