Now this is bull$#!t

It makes me wanna flip my lid reading other members posts on how successful there projects are running. As most of you are well aware, my son and I,which happens to stay with me, both lost our jobs. Now every way we try to at least get some transport running,(we stay on a farm outside of town) turns out to backfire on us. As his beetle is the only vehicle currently registered, but the aircooled engine is stuffed, the only logical solution was to fit a 1900 waterpumper (which we had). After two trips to town on foot to get the neccisary parts to get it running and lots of effort,we got it running. Just to find out the engine is fcuked. Now its back on our feet again! Will this bullshit never stop? Like the old saying goes, when it rains,it pours. All I am asking for is to be able to join fellow forum members on trips, swap meets and camp outs. But as they say,if the sun goes down today,we expect it to come up tommorow! Sorry guys and girls, for ranting on the forum, but although I don't know any of you personally yet, you all feel like friends to me,but of course, a friend in need is a pest. Okay its time to get my shoes on my blistered feet and of to town again for bread and milk. See ya all later. :(

I can relate. I have my fastback for 2 years and have never driven it once. The end is thankfully in sight now!

What a friendly lot you are. I am not bitching. I used to belong to the auto union/dkw club a few years back. While I was building my junior,a fellow member helped me out with a ride for over a year. Needless to say,I looked after it with a passion and in the end bought it of him. But it seems trust in human kind changed over the years! Never mind,I will come right on my own!

In your blind haste, you missed Sambabus asking you this.... (missed opportunity)

Ricky, I am probably speaking out of turn, but Im known for doing so. There have been a few forum members overs the past 2-3 years that have been in your or even worse positions. Also lost there jobs, vehicles and livelihood. The only difference is they did it with their heads held high and with more decorum. They soldiered on and reached the light at the end of the tunnel. I feel for you as Im sure all others do who have been in a tight spot or two...

The topic of your post, really screams bad karma...

Chin up dude and hang in there! There are others far worse off... people who have never owned a vehicle... kids and adults that walk to school and work or the chance of work, and work far further than you do... People who prioritise what ever little food they can find for their tables over the luxury of owning a vehicle...

I really hope you take this in the manner I intended it...
