WOW MAN, thats interesting, those vents at the rear, do you know the history of this bus, did you buy her in SA or maybe Namibia?
Good luck with your project. Some other "interesting stuff" lurking in the shadows there ..........................
And welcome !

Shot guys....i bought her in East London licensed and the papers say 01/01/1967
i have thought the vents look a tad different being on top instead of the bottom but thought nothing of it....has pop outs and safari's looks like factory fitted...half are rotten (bottoms only) which i believe is quite common.....(the rusty part) can't believe no-one have managed to have a decent set of pop outs and safari's manufactured locally (and export them to the poms for a profit seeing they love our buses so much )
nevertheless maybe i can persuade some engineering works in PE to come to the party....will give it a shot !
the seats are Grey and white and look original with grab handles and all....won't even re-cover them they look sooo good still....1500 motor running...even the one eyed duck is still in good nick
got lucky, but payed top dollar for her...only saw the condition of the window frames afterwards...otherwise would have paid R 6000 less....enough crying i'm sure she will bring me loads of fun..and breakfast runs !!
