Hi Guys. How about a thread on how you did those tricky mods like installing electric windows into a kombi and stuff like that. Tell me what you think.

That is a good idea! I think we should post it under 'Advice' (given). I have put the rear electric windows of an Audi 500SE in the front of my 412 Variant a few years ago. It was before the days of digital cameras, so no pics unfortunately. Wasn't too difficult, but I had to switch them around - left in the Audi = right in the Variant.

Soory for the hijack, but it's almost along the same lines.
Everytime I have done something for the first time and learnt something new, I thought of startting a topic like "What did you do on your ACVW today?", but rather something like "What did you learn new about your ACVW today?"
What do you guys think? Waste of time? Come to think of it, it can't be more of a waste of time like "The official question and answer thread".
Anyway, someone can kick it off since it will be a while till I'm back home to fiddle on one of my cars.
