I also have parts off this bus for spares. Nose of the bus is for jolas, the rest is still available. Perhaps suspension, rims?
It had a microbus 2.0L engine it, any one interested in the microbus parts, alternator, tinware, coolimg and heating ducts etc?
This bus was relatively good for the front half, but the back half is rotten. Apparently it's previous owner used to launch his boat in the ocean with it. Seems true as it is really rotten at the back. I also have no idea why the roof was cut off but I had to take it loose with the bus. I really do find it sad when a car has been treated so badly, hopefully all the useful spares off these two buses can be used else ware.

Hi,
As we are just starting our project, there is tons of stuff we need. Off the top of my head, off the 72 sand box - Front indicators, front seats, any engine tin - any switches, knobs, levers ... off the dash, any chance of a glove box? Do you have a list of what you don't need?

There are two seats but they are not the correct ones from a baywindow.
There is still the dashboard switches - Headlights, hazards, wipers switch.
There are indicator lenses but all are quite damaged/cracked.
Don't have a glove box but do have a glove box lid. There is still the instrument cluster. None of the levers are there.
Other usable parts I can think of:
1. Front suspension with disk brakes and booster.
2. Front bumper
3. Windows for front doors and rear sliding ones
4. Window winder mechanisms
5. Gear linkage
6. Door panels
7. 2 x rear bench seats
8. 4 x vw steel rims with tyres
9. 4 x smiths white steel rims with tyres
I didnt take much off these buses, so anything else you can spot just ask if it it is still there.

Does the front spare wheel mount fit to the bumper? If so I'll be keen for that!

A 72 towbar will not bolt up to a 68-71 bus.

OK - I will be in Cape Town around 14th Dec. Very interested in Dash, switches... Door panels, Indicators (for the bases at least)
How about the electric loom? I will give you a ring

The front tyre mount is still available. It is fixed to the bumper as well as the nose.
The tow bar can not be used as it's brackets are almost completely rusted off.

No problem
The loom I still have, and is in untampered condition.
