Ok, I must say there is not many times that I envy anybody, but right now I do envy all of you. Sitting in that nice sunny hot weather, while we are freezing our nuts off. The wind is blowing like it want to sweep you off the face of the earth, it is a constand 40mph (60 kph) and it is snowing. So the roads is just white out, so much snow blowing that you can not see the front of your car let alone the road. Not really the ideal conditions to drive in. The temps is now 12 degree F (-11 Degree C) with a wind chill of - 20 F (-29 C) and tonight it will go to 2 F (-17 C) with a chill of -24 F (-31 C). So enjoy your heat, I will just f@*king freeze my nuts off.

I was reading your posts from last year a few days ago and here you pipe up again.
Europe isnt doing much better, not as bad as you tho. I had -8degC the other day. Some guys went skiing and were talking about -26degC without wind.

Hey Henry havnt heard a peep from ya in yonks, Its not the way you think man remember in this heat we have to consume lots of beer to combat heat stroke and swim and watch the lady's on the beaches , icecream is also not a good diet specialy if you have to have a braai first and that creates more problems since you cant barbeque without having more beer ! lol I feel for you man , but if the cold cant motivate you and the missus to come and have a holiday over here in the sunny south i dont know what can , this is an invitation if you havnt guessed so get your stuff sorted that side so next year you can join us and complain about the heat !

Maybe the weather is changing,--- ozone --all those damn old beetles coming out of the woods lately.
In my area we got our bad August winds only in November this year and its still blowing more than usual
Last year we got it in October and the year before in September. Temperatures are not high --low 20s Cel where it usually is high 20s this time of year. We had a few hot days (max 29C I think) but definitely much cooler this year .
Even the rainfall is lower and late this year.
But still the best weather in the world.

Split I tried to have a beer the other night, but the darn bottle froze to my lip, I do not like the aluminum beer bottles, might look cool and all but the taste is not right.
Last night it got a little cool, not as cold as Saturday night but cool enough.

So here I am driving Saturday night, it is snowing, wind blowing and it is cold, no it IS FCUKING cold. Just then nature made a call, a rather urgent call. And as there is no other fools on the road I decided to answer the call just there on the side of the road. I have not seen a car for the past 15 min, so I pull over and walk to the passenger side to get out of the wind. Things are going well when I shifted my weight slightly and I slip. Now anybody that have been busy with #1 and you had to make a sudden move, you can loose grip. Well I lost it and being mid stream there is no stopping, I try to grab it and catch my balance at the same time was not good. In short I got wet, very wet.
Well now totally wet and pissed I walk around to get back in, and place my wet hand on the roof........... mistake, big f......king one on top of that too. My hand froze to the cold metal in a nano second, and I can not get it off. And a car coming, lucky it is a state trooper. He pulls up to find out if all is well, it is too cold to have any dignity and told him my hand is frozen to the roof.
He pulls over and turn the fcuking lights on, and he must be fcuking blind as he turns both spotlights on and aim them on me. Here I am hand stuck on the roof and very wet, and now frozen pants. And low and behold now all of America is driving by and gawking. So he try to pull my hand off, but all that does is tearing the skin off my hand and hurts like hell. He says that the only way to get my hand loose is to use warm water, great idea. But wait we are in the middle of nowhere, where is he going to get hot water. I was still pondering the question when I heard the unmistaken sound of a zipper being pulled down. Oh hell NOOOOOOOOOO! He is not going to do what I think he is going to do, yes he is pissing on my hand. All that is going thru my head is, I am in the middle of nowhere in frozen hell with all of America driving by looking and I have a state trooper pissing on my hand.
Well I have to admit it worked, my hand broke loose, hurting and smelling of piss, a strangers piss. I thanked him, scrapped the little dignity I could get together and drove off. I swore if I had to pee again in a cold storm, I WILL piss in my pants but will not get out. I can just imagine the story the trooper was telling at the HQ later that night.......I hate the fcuking winter.

Ha ha ha , that musta been the worst man ! I bet the trooper will be telling that story well into 2011 !!!
