Fleetline Split camper
Hi Guys, I was offered this camper by a customer of mine who saw my Fleetline standing at ,my shop and wanted to know if I was interested in another one he had, that has been standing next to his garage for three years. With nothing to lose I went and looked at it and it now stands next to the other fleetline at my shop. It needs a coat of paint but the body is rust free. It has a s/p 1600 engine in which started up after cleaning the carb, replacing fuel filter and lines. Im sure the windows are from a canopy and will require changing. The roof flips up to the drivers side and the canvas has a small rip in it, which i will have repaired. I will keep you all updated on progress.

Cool bus DR
I stay close to where you work some times I drive past there and I have seen some buses parked out side but never had the time to stop and have a look at them

Cool Fleetline Doc! Pity about the ugly windows but I love the pop-top.

Re: Fleetline Split camper
Thanks guys I appreciate the positive feedback. I will be replacing those horrible windows with louvre type ones. Im at the Supa Quick and you can ask for Deon, Dr Watson also works but sounds much too formal

Re: Fleetline Split camper
If it were mine I'd keep the right side window, fill in the left rear window, and fit kombi cargo doors with factory windows. Problem with all hacked-in windows is they don't have the factory frame that allows them to sit flush; they always stand proud of the body.

Re: Fleetline Split camper
Thanks for your advice Fig, I think Ill go with your suggestion on keeping the right side window but still fitting a louvre unit. I have a set of fleetline doors with the
original windows that I will fit.(Thanks Bugger)
Blanking off the hole where that "AWESOME"
looking canopy window is shoudnt be a problem.
