1968 fast back aka "Ratback"

Post by syncromad »

Hi guys

I bought Blitz's fasty in Dec and took delivery on Wed. drove it yesterday to the jacaranda Beetle Club's 25 Bash, got soaked in the rain, It leaks like a sieve.

Today we took it to Cullinan with The Beetle and Bus Club, she ran really well suprising the odd "newer" car on pull away.

here are some pics,

will be fitting these sprintstars today, should look better than the gold Rosstyles

Sorry to say Stuart, but the red Atlas porto walls dont really suit the Sprint Stars or the Fasty... Will look wicked without them...

Hope I did not offend ok?

No hassle, Each has their own opinion, Blitz will probably also not like them The red inserts that is, Thats the beauty with wheels and tyres 30mins and they are changed, i think they look way better than the Gold rosstyles that were on it.

I just put them on to see how they look, easy enough to take off if i decided to. just needs a red Coke cooler to match the wheels then it will look cool.

LOL! Agreed, it does look a million times better than the gold rostyles....Right Blitz? LIKE YOU SAY IT TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO REMOVE AND THEN THOSE WHEELS WILL LOOK STONKING ON THE FASTY... SHOOT!! HIT THE CAPS LOCK KEY.....

I get the hint.... I will see what I can do about a red cooler...I have 2 candidates... genuine Coca cola cooler, but from the 70's and made from Hard ABS plastic or a THERMOS red one, made from metal, with Chrome handles, will suit the ratback perfectly....

Check the pics... I have added a Coca Cola logo onto the red Thermos Cooler box....

I agree, it looks a million times better than the gold Rostyles that were on there

I do like how the sprintstars look, think that the red stripe looks the :flash:

I have a stunt bike with a red stripe on the tyres that can go on the rack, would match perfectly 8)

hi Muds

a fake coke cooler for a genuine moto lita, may need work on that deal.

Have a real ali coke cooler, want a real red coke cooler, even if ratty.

Pine, i have the ratty wagon, on the first pics, also have a big and small genuine Radio flyer.

And as Pine says looks like "Red lines" just need a huge wing out back and the wide sprints on the rear.

I like the red inserts have them on my fleety as well, narrower red stripe but still the same idea.
