Hi Simon

The MC will bolt straight in but you'll need the tandem fluid reservoir and associated plumbing as well. I can supply the reservoir if you need one. I assume you have the single circuit all drum system at the moment - in that case I'm not sure how well the tandem MC will work as drum brakes need a check valve in the MC to maintain a very slight residual pressure in the cylinders. Calipers apparently don't.

I reccommend 'Brake Super Service' in Woodstock for any brake work. Very reasonably priced and I have always been quite satified with their work. If you prefer I can have the MC overhauled for you. The last one I did worked out to about R650.

thanks for the info,helps alot.

sounds like it may be smarter and simpler to simply replace the current single MC i have now-I aint to clued up on these things and dont want to incur issues in the future. what do you think?
is the dual really that much better than the single?
also, the overhaul cost is a little too high for me at the moment :(

where would I find a single MC for the squareback?-do you have any ?

si.

Hi Simon.

What is wrong with your MC? Why not just overhaul it - takes the same 19.05mm kit as a Beetle. (euroseal RK 1.19.03 or RK 7104 X) I can supply that too.

Thanks for the steering wheel Variant. Those rear engine mounts for Type 3's look real good as well!
