hey this is my new project I purchased this baby just a week ago the motor was poked and she has so me cancer, she is going original VW lime green 2 tone split on the doors, and I have purchased 17 inch rims for her, I have got a new motor for her witch I have done over was a 1.6 twin port she will be running '' 40 thou '' over sized pistons with a carb upgrade she also hase adjustable suspension in the front what a bargain. I will have the interior done as well I hope she will look good as new by the end of the month. Tell me what you think and also give me ideas... Thanks

If you ask him nicely, Merlin will give you a contact number for Garry Connacher, who operates in your area and always has one or two split buses for sale. If you don't buy one, he'll export it.

the only other car i ever owned was a BMW and id take a Ford after a VW any day!!! i was meaning to change the banner i would rather push a VW than Drive a opel.. lol !!! hahahaha have to admit the banner rules !!

i went through the same thing with my '74.
but i am selling it now. want to do it properly next time, and to an older model.
i have some very cool ideas that i havent seen on a bug yet.
but saying that, on my usual friday night beetle pic surfing, i will see one that is exactly what i would do.
