Hi Guys, Once again this forum ROCKS!!!
I have and will continue learning alot from the masterminds here.

Here is my project I started last year and whenever the missus chased me out of the kitchen.
I am currently very slow paced with this project but I am sure I will get there. I bought this buggy in 2001 and left it at the coast and only used it whenever is down fishing, however it was parked off for about 8 years, so last year I decided to bring it up to Jozzies and start a rebuild.
To date, I have rebuilt the floor as the pans where rusted (Thanks to Pine and his build thread I have learnt alot). I stripped and t the body professionally re-sprayed (Ford ST Electric Orange)

What's left to do?
1. Insert alu plate on pan
2. Braking system upgrade
3. Complete motor overhaul (Considering what to do here)
4. Complete wiring

It all looks very lekker. I alway laugh when I look at the work space at all the kak that's piled up against the wall, mine's no different. Why do we only chuck it out when it's been there 15 years?

When you refit the front indicators, do yourself a favour and relocate the bulb in the horizontal position by turning the cover bracket back to front and removing the bulb holder and attaching it onto the bracket horizontally. It stops the front wheel from bashing it in.

Did you miss the thread on the forum where the okes have a fit about cutting the tunnel open to access the clutch cable hook? You'll want to weld that up properly, the tunnel is structural.

Thanks, My wife is always complaining about my junk in the garage...I try and clean it out every month....but its hard to throw stuff out from your garage, cos ONE DAY it will come handy.

It's Ron, Gill's my wife, the owner of the 1956 bus...

If you pm me your email address I will send you a drawing of how I fixed it so my front wheels don't bask in my indicator (I found it after a long search)... Then you can post it on the forum since I am pc challenged.
