Flossy for the first time in one and n half years is sick so that I cannot drive her today. :(

The crankshaft pulley broke loose from the hub. And needs replacing. And I got her a new one of these

Nice and shinny will fit it tonight and promise will take pictures of the whole process. So if everything goes well she will be on the road again tomorrow as my daily. :D

So the crank pulley broke from the hub must say I must have been really lucky as I heard this rattle the day before when I left the office. Drove home and the following morning after dropping my kids of at the daycare I decided to have a quick look at home as to what rattles. Stopped there and found that it was the crank pulley. Called my dad and he said no don't drive the bus further like that. So I used the wife's water pumper for the day got all the necessary parts. Here is my detailed report on changing the pulley.

I got a gear puller to remove the old pulley

As you can see the pulley is still on one piece but as soon as I pulled it of it seperated. I think I am lucky to have spotted it before this happened on the road.
