Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Eugene, yes ---- It broke off completely. Distributor snapped in half and bottom pully totaled! Alternator got hurt and fan housing bent.
Replaced all of these......rebuit it over the weekend and got a start. Yay!!!! ...and she's purring like a kitten on steroids!
Jolas, Thanx 4 your support & compliments.... I'm looking forward to meeting you soonest......and possibly pitching up with her on the next open day.
Thanx also to ACVWSA for providing this wonderfull platform where we can live out our dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi James
A bargain indeed!!!! I was offered 45K as is. Wonder what she would be worth after I'm finished. Her interior is flawless and completely original with the tartan bucket seats, centre consol, 3 spoke racing steering wheel....the worx!

Did your gear knob crack up badly? think mine the PO over tightened and ruined it by pushing the top bit out as such.

Hey James
My gearknob still seems fine!

Nice work! a SP is also somewhere on my wanted list.
Keep up the good work.
Totally off topic: Is the hood ornament a Main coon, Norwegian forest or A N Other?
