Why would you fit a velocity stack to your carb/s?
What is the advantage, and doesn't it allow loads of dirt into your fuel system?
Cheers, N.

Velocity stacks help smooth the flow of air into the carbs and increase HP at high RPM,s their length and shape is also critical to their function, you can fit stacks into a filtered box or housing, I personally will never run without filters if it means that the stacks dont fit inside the filters then the stacks must go.

Mmmkay, thanks.
I wasn't aware you could fit stacks INTO the filters.
I would image this necessitates speciality filters?
I've just been browsing, and I see that you can order a sort of filter gauze to cover the top of the stacks. Interesting for the future.
Google Image search velocity stacks beetlepower.
