POWDER COATING

A friend of mine powder coated my bumpers, and my rostyles,he charged R450 for both bumpers, and about R180 a rim. He doesnt use left over powder to powder coat and uses new powder on all his work,so it comes out tip top. He also doesnt use sandbalsting to remove paint,he soaks the "job" in tanks of hot, soapy water and removes the paint slowly so as to not damage the underlying metal.

Here is a cell phone pic of the rostyle

R180 per rim is a bit steep hey. I had 4 widened steelies done for R100 including VAT per rim in sparkle silver, only problem was that I had to wait a month

Does he drive a wicked el chamino pick up?

@ Blits,...yes its steep,...but remember, you pay peanuts and you get monkeys. Also,he only uses NEW powder, not the second or third hand shit these other guys use,...hence the price. But he powder coats both colours properly, the black and the silver. I will take propper pics on the weekend and post them on monday for you to see.

He also says that the price will most likely come down with numbers.

Oh okay cool, just did some clicking around and it seems like pricing starts around the R150 + bracket so yours is a market related price :)
