I just bought my Wife a Little Corsa with the Super Boss motor as I wanted to start Re-spraying her Bug that she was Driving for the last 2 years as a Daily driver
and Another Sweet Deal cam to touch

Some of You might remember some of the Pick `n Pay Cabrio Beetles I have built in 2001 for their 25th Birthday Bash

Well one of those came up for sale and I could not resist


This Cab was won by a Lady at the Boksburg Hypermarket and sold to a Friend of ours 8 years ago. The total Millage the Cabrio has done since the Rebuilt is 10 000Km and it looks as if it was built yesterday
Yes the Paint is as good as new with a Scratch or 2 here and there but that is not the end of the world

This Picture was taken from the mazzenine spares floor before we started to ship the cabrios to the 14 differant Hypermarkets through out SA


Life with out having fun is borring


Just before the lucky draw at Boksburg Pick `n pay Hypermarket


Each Store had a internal competition as to who can decorate their stores the best with the Cabrios


One of the Expensive out lays was to have the Cabrios Re-Sprayed properly to be able to deliver a superb product


This Pic was taken inside an Additional shop that we hired to build the Cabrios as the normal shop was to small


The Management and the Marketing Director could not believe their Eyes when I pitched up at the Meeting all the store Managers had regarding the 25th birthday bash in a Red Cabrio


A Happy moment and a sad moment for the Wive when we had to deliver her al trusty Creamy

We had a blast yesterday at the Jims and we were 14 Vehicles from the Beetle and VW Club Jhb

Will load a pic or 2 tomorrow

Me and a couple friends were at JIMS saturday, didnt see many beetles /AC cars, in fact, only saw one.

Oh, only saw that sasol theatre from a distance, didnt go down, was on my way to the nearest beer tent

I saw an old white one, in I think it was hall 8 or there abouts, was with Tata & other chinese vehicles.

Yes was the Cream split window in hall 9

I collected it this morning and returned it to my friend who owns it

The joy of welcoming old family back to the Home......
