Hi Guys

New to the world of air cooled rides. Wanted to know what you call the split van combi that has a front windscreen that opens. Is that a factory spec or do the guys do the conversion themselves. They are quite rare I think as I only know of one in CT.

Hinged windscreens are known as safari screens. They were a factory option on split buses. In the late 50s/early 60s safaris were very common on VW buses. You can also buy various aftermarket safaris, some better than others.
