You all know how somedays everything seems to go wrong,Ihave often wondered if this happens to send you in a different direction.

What am I talking about?

Yesterday was one of those days for me,we had so mutch to do and did not know where to start everything I touch would just go wrong.I believe that I was forced into a differen direction to what my plans were.

We have a exibition on saturday, my plan was to go down to the museum today collect some of my cars and come clean them for the show. By three I was so frustrated at work that I just could not take it anymore keeping in mind that by eleven I was ready to run away.My father in law that is currently helping in the shop suggested that we go down to the museum and collect the cars.I decided maybe it's for the better.

This is where Things got Hot,I don't often get to the museum sometimes a month would go by and I would not get the time to pop in.When we pulled up in the driveway we smelled something burning, smelling like a electrical fire,as I unlocked the door the smell got stronger. We started to look for the source, the next moment the mains cable running into the museum cought fire it runs under the ground and up the wall into the DB board. All equipment in the garage are always off.I was just in time to cut the mains supply to the house. The only damage is the wiring and a wall that shows where the cable have burnt.
The fire got less than half a metre from the DB board when we manage to cut the power and put it out.

If we weren't there at that exact moment things could have been so different, five minutes later and ??????

Next time everything goes wrong don't always blame the devil for it, maybe it's just God wanting to show you how great He is and that no matter what He still is in control at least in my life.

Seriously I believe I was send there at that exact moment.

Aparantly a poor conection on the live wire.

There are currently 46 of my babies in there.

I can't begin to explain how gratefull and relieved I am.

Hi Gerhart,
Glade to hear the story had a happy ending...

They say that a young Man cannot understand "Religion" but an older Man has experienced it.

Good to hear "my" 52 Beetle is still safe

Glad to hear it turned out well Gerhard - like you say it could so easily have been different.....

And the lesson to remember to listen when someone is trying to tell us something - it is so easy to just stay busy with our day to day :bn:..... instead of paying attention to the things that actually DO matter. Nice to get a reminder like this.

Wow Gerhard, I'm so glad your timing was perfect.

Yes, the physical universe (or whatever you want to call it) always gives us all the information we need. We just have to LISTEN.

Initially thought you wanted to discuss the tea lady?

Glad that you were there at the right time. Things could have turned out different...

The pic's on volksie shops gallery dont do justice to what is all in the museum. When you've been there you realise just what is there! Glad to hear that you got to the problem in time!
