problem with my polo gti

hi i have a 2007 polo gti...the car has been running perfect but now recently when you start the car after a couple hours it will start but want to die off and when u try n rev it will rev alittle bit and then drop and then rev abit higher and then drop and after a while might start reving properly this even happens while you driving...please help urgently...thanx

Guy, before some one on here posts something stupid, this is a aircooled forum. Unless your car has a type 1 or 4 aircooled VW engine then you probably wont find much help here.

I would suggest finding someone with an OBD II reader and seeing what error codes your car is throwing, look for them on line and you will most likely find out what is wrong....

I actually did type up a snarky reply, but decided to be nice :)

Boost leak,Clogged catlytic converter be my guesses. But yeah best get it to a code reader and see from there.

Good luck. On and remember to always let the terrrbo to warm up before driving hard, and cooling down before switching off. Those turbos seem to die 70K km deaths...
