early split single cab

Look at what arrived on the farm just after midnight last night :hangloose:

This pick-up was originally discovered and rescued (salvaged off a mountain side) by Christo Wesraad a few years ago. Jason Furness bought it from him shortly thereafter and took delivery
of it yesterday, it had been patiently waiting on a farm in Oudshoorn for the last 3 or 4 years.
It is staying at my place for a few days along with another bus that belongs to Jason which had an engine failure, also in Oudshoorn - he decided to go to the George Car show and then go and bring back both busses on A-Frame and trailer with Christo's help yesterday.

Well done Christo for saving this truck (amazing effort, will try get photos) and congrats to Jason, big work ahead dude :hangloose: Hopefully a project thread will be in the making soon dude ? (Better make sure that the pressed bumper on that pick-up is still there when you collect it  )

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Nice early bus !

Any pic's on the rescue from the mountain ?
Camping is cheaper than therapy.

"Wanna sell it" "Yeah, but there's a national shortage on 'for sale' signs."
