Hi, all,
I am urgently looking for a Weber Carb Intake for a single carb for the Type 1 motor. I have heard it also being referred to as a Scat Intake. Need it to fit a 36 dcd.If anyone can assist, please contact me on 0796319193.
Thanks
Andre

Happy hunting. It took me two years to find mine and then it cost me R1000.00 for a second hand unit.

Can get a new one for you, R1100 with heat risers attached, without them you will never get the Weber to work right, been there.

Yes, I can, they are available loose for the EMPI manifold, R350, come with gaskets.

Hi Calooker,
i spoke to Dave at FFR and he was the one i was going to get it from but he sold the last one last week and said that it would take 4 weeks to get a new order in. I was planning to pay R1100. I am in Cape Town so how do I get it from you.
Thanks
Andre

I would need a 50% dep. before I order. From there 2-3 weeks.

Thanks mate, might have a solution locally by installing a custom adapter that utilises the original intake. Will first see how this avenue pans out, if not I will place an order with FFR.
Thanks

common adapter... not what you want though. it doesnt help putting a big carb on a big adapter and then bolting it to a small inlet manifold. You will have better success with a stock carb.
